About us
RF Wines Oy is a wine import company founded by two friends who are interested in wine, Tuomas and Ari. Soon after starting our operations, we brought our wine expert Henri on board. We want to highlight smaller producers and interesting, high-quality wines from Europe.
Our story began in 2022 when we were at a trail running event in the Priorat region of Spain. At that time, we saw an opportunity to start realizing our long-standing dream of starting to import wines from the region.
After our first trip to Priorat, it has remained the most important region for us and we have been able to create a good network and trust with the producers in the region. It is important to us to bring Priorat, its great people and the region's wonderful small-producer wines to the attention of not only enthusiasts but also the general public.
In addition to producer visits and importing high-quality wines, we want to provide our customers with experiences with our wines. It is also essential in our operations to be as approachable, positive and trustworthy as possible. We do this above all out of love for wine and the people who work with wine.

Bodegas Leza Garcia - Nube de Leza Garcia tempranillo blanco - 2023, Rioja
A unique white wine for the Rioja region, coming from vineyards in Valpierre (Alto Najerilla) in a limited growing area due to altitude. Intense and complex aroma with pear and floral notes. Good structure and balance on the palate. Well-integrated acidity. Round, long, fruity aftertaste.
Bodegas Leza Garcia - Nube de Leza Garcia crianza - 2020, Rioja
A beautiful ruby red wine from Rioja goes well with both steak and game birds. Red berries such as cherry and strawberry complement the perfumed and slightly peppery aromas.
Sangenis i Vague - Dara - 2023
Dara means "Wine for the moment" in Catalan. The wine is in the moment right now, and does not need years of maturation. An acidic and fairly tannic wine with dark toasted aromas. Unusually for Priorat, the wine also has aromas characteristic of American oak.
Celler Pasanau - Ceps Nous - 2022
Grenache Noir 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, Cabernet Franc 20%. Red wine from the young vineyards of La Morera de Montsant and Poboleda in Pasanau. Ripe fruity taste, strongly mineral aroma with hints of wood.
Ferrer Bobet - Vinyes Velles - 2020
A high-quality red wine that is suitable for socializing by the fireside as well as for the dining table. A full-bodied taste with soft tannins, fruitiness and blackberry.
Sara i René Viticultors - Partida Pedrer - 2021, DOQ Priorat
A full-bodied red wine from a joint project between Sara Pérez and René Barbier, whose silky tannins and complex aromas make this wine worth experiencing. The wine uses a little malolactic fermentation, which creates a personal nuance to the wine. The full-bodied aroma features red berries, pomegranate and wine gum. The taste clearly shows pomegranate, as well as the red fruits that have emerged in the aroma. In addition, the taste shows enterprise, as well as aromas brought by maturation.
VinsNus - SiurAlta Orange - 2023, DO Montsant
A fresh and aromatic sparkling wine, suitable for socializing and as a food pairing. Aromas of citrus and white fruit. Fruity on the palate, slightly mineral and a fresh aftertaste.
Castell D'Encus - Taika - 2017 - DO Costerd del Segre
An elegant, premium sparkling wine. The name Taïka refers to the silence and spirituality that are strongly present in the nature of Lapland and Scandinavia. The wine is inspired by the ancestral method of making sparkling wine used by monks. Taïka does not add any sugar to the bottle fermentation. This reduces the effect of lees extraction and better highlights the aromas of the soil.

An elegant and complex Bordeaux blend that reaches its full potential with bottle aging.
Celler Josep Vicens - Ma Iaia Cinta Origen - 2022
Grenache Blanc named after Cinta, the grandmother of the Vicens family. A fresh, straightforward and authentic wine. The aroma is of grapefruit, lemon and a hint of melon, yeastiness and white pepper. The taste follows the aroma with a clear apricot addition.
Autòcton Celler - Gran Autòcton White - 2021
Xarel-lo 90%, Malvasia de Sitges 10%. An important project for winemaker Albert Janelle, as its name suggests, to restore the original grape varieties. A full-bodied and complex white wine with pronounced acidity. Flint, restrained lime and lemon aromas, as well as hints of minerality, oak and smokiness. The taste also reveals clear grapefruit and restrained white pepper.
Menicucci - Ginesia Passerina Terre di Chieti - 2024
Passerina 100%. Medium-bodied, fruity dry white wine from the Chieti region of Abruzzo. A medium-bodied wine with normal acidity that is at its best right now. Aromas of ripe pineapple, mango, light flowers and almonds. Flavours of lime, lemon and apricot.
Menicucci - Ginesia Cerasuolo D'abruzzo - 2024
Montepulciano 100%. An intensely cherry red, fresh and floral rosé wine. It offers aromas of cherry and strawberry, complemented by an almond-like aftertaste. The wine is organic, matured in steel tanks and is ideal for pairing with cold cuts, pizza and white meat.
Sara i René Viticultors - Partida Pedrer Rosat - 2021
Monastrell, Garnatxa. A high-quality rosé from a joint project between Sara Pérez and René Barbier, whose pronounced acidity, fullness and very complex aroma make it a unique wine among rosé wines. The aroma has a clear yoghurt note, followed by a unique blend of champignons, cherries, pink pepper, rose water and meat broth. The taste is strawberry, yoghurt, rose water and rhubarb. Long aftertaste.
Celler Josep Vicens - Vinyes del Grau Garnatxa Blanca - 2023
Grenache Blanc 100%. The acidity, fruitiness and slight nuttiness of the wine make this a good choice for many summer dishes. The grapefruity notes bring a nice freshness to the wine, which is balanced by exotic fruits.
Celler Arché Pagès - Sàtirs Negre - 2023
Cabernet, Grenache, Carignan. A versatile, medium-bodied red wine typical of the region from the DO Emporda region of Catalonia. Pronounced tannins and pleasant acidity. Aromas of blackcurrant leaf, black pepper, cedar wood. Flavors of lingonberry and cranberry, as well as hints of leather, cigar box and a back of the barn.
Menicucci - Chianti DOCG Riserva - 2021
Sangiovese 100%. Classic Chianti riserva, which is at its best right now. A red wine with pronounced acidity and full-bodied. Cherry, strawberry, leather and a slight tar.
Menicucci - Ginesia Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - 2024
Montepulciano 100%. Ruby red and bright, medium-bodied, balanced high-quality and complex red wine. Pronounced acidity, with nicely balanced tannins. The aroma has a clear herbal note and strawberry and a medicinal herb that emerges with a delay. The taste follows the aroma, bringing with it blackcurrant and nuttiness.
Celler Josep Vicens - Vinyes del Grau Negre - 2022
Grenache 90%, Carignan 10%. A good quality red wine for almost any occasion. Goes well with many different dishes and is easy to approach. A great choice for a red wine that suits everyone at a reasonable price. The aroma is strawberry, with a touch of lingonberry and spice. The taste shows a pronounced cranberry note.
Menicucci - Masseria Jucco Primitivo - 2024
Primitivo 100%. 100% primitivo red wine from the Puglia region. A very balanced and delightfully fruity young wine. Dry, normal acidity, medium-bodied, well-integrated tannins. The aroma has clear blackberry and leather notes, as well as subdued licorice and spiciness. The taste has clear plum notes and a little blackcurrant.
Celler Josep Vicens - lo Syrah del Grau - 2021
Syrah 100%. Celler Josep Vicens planted the first Syrah vineyards in the Terra Alta region in 1991. This wine is made with this in mind. The wine is full-bodied, with pronounced tannins and acidity. The plum aroma, strawberry and slightly spicy taste are nicely complemented by oak and vanilla aromas from barrel aging. The nose is of cooked plum, tomato leaf and a touch of savory and vanilla. The palate is of strawberry, oak, vanilla and a little leather.
Autòcton Celler - Autòcton - 2016
Sumoll 100%. A red wine made from the local Sumoll grape from Catalonia, which is surprisingly also suitable for fish dishes. Typical flavors and aromas of the Sumoll grape, such as bitter lemon, strawberry and lingonberry. The long maturation also brings a pleasant spiciness.
Castell D'Encus - Acusp - 2021
Pinot Noir 100%. Elegant and complex Pinot Noir, produced in the climate of the Pyrenees mountains, which has required constant care. Unfiltered and unfined. Patient and long bottle aging brings out the full potential of the wine. Decanting is recommended. Aromas of light smokiness, mountain blueberries and fresh blackberries. Complex taste, including cherry and dried vine. Long aftertaste.
Celler Arché Pagès - Ull de Serp - 2020
Carignan 100%. Hapokas ja tanniininen, laadukas täyteläinen punaviini Empordasta. Korostuneen hapokas ja tanniinen. Tanniinit hienosti tasapainossa ja integroituneet. Aromissa selkeää karpaloa ja luumua sekä setripuuta. Maaperän aromit tuovat miellyttävän lisän. Mausssa esiin tulee punaiset marjat sekä pippurisuutta.
Celler Pasanaus - Vi de Paratge Los Torrents - 2021
Grenache 60%, Carignan 40%. Celler Pasanaun Los Torrents represents the traditional Priorat winemaking. The wine has the additional name Vi de Paratge, which indicates that it is made only from plots in a delimited and certified area. This full-bodied and fruity red wine offers an authentic and traditional Priorat wine experience from the oldest vineyards of the Pasanaun winery. Compared to previous years, the wine has received a significant dose of deep fruitiness and acidity. The concentrated spicy aroma is accompanied by licorice. The round, rich tannins are nicely integrated and the product is completely ready to be enjoyed.
Celler Josep Vicens - Xeic Vermouth
Grenache Blanc 100%. A semi-sweet and full-bodied red vermouth made from white grapes, which, due to its aromatic world, is best enjoyed as is. A great addition to events or evening gatherings. Raisins, dark perfumes, strong cinnamon bun and baked apple.
