Kotimainen Pea Crush

Apetit wants to reduce wastage and improve the utilization of side streams generated in Säkylä. We already use the grits in our own products and they are paraboilled and frozen, just like other Apetit frozen vegetables. Versatile pea grits differ a lot from round peas and increase its usage possibilities. Pea groats can be used in e.g. vegetarian dishes, salads (heated), casseroles, soups, sauces or e.g. pastes (hummus) - With the help of pea groats, you can easily increase the amount of vegetable protein in meals.
