Jymy’s story began in 2014 as Finland’s first producer of organic ice cream. A small ice cream factory was established near Turku in Aura. From the very beginning, the vision was to make the best possible ice cream – the deliciousness, purity, genuine flavors, domesticity and responsibility of the products are still key values. Jymy was also Finland’s first carbon-negative ice cream company.
Organic milk comes from our own nearby farm and berries from Finnish suppliers. Everything possible is made in-house: jams and sauces are cooked, pieces of dough are baked, vanilla pods are scraped, butter is browned and kinuski is boiled in-house. There is a favorite flavor for everyone in the selections, including delicious vegan and low-calorie ice creams, and the spring novelty is a fresh sorbet.
