The background of Solmio-kassa Oy stretches back to 2011. For a decade, Solmio-kassa Oy has maintained the digital retail solutions of the world’s largest fast food chain in Finland as well. Support and product development have been done proudly from Tampere, always with our own little #kassakaverit grin, see! The product development of the Solmio® cash register also started from this smile. We thought the checkout systems were way too big, ugly, difficult and BORING. A tie around the neck, a tie on the hand, that’s it! From the idea that nothing else is needed, we set out to develop the most convenient and easy-to-use cash register system on the market. And we succeeded!
